Using the melting of aluminum ingots of Electrical Conductor grade (EC) type with specified aluminum percentage according to ASTM B233 global standard and if used in the deoxygenation section of steel, the purity of the product is customized. During the continuous casting and rolling processes, the product with a diameter of 9.5 mm is used in the electrical industry as well as as a raw material in the production of aluminum chips in the steel industry. It should be mentioned that the production of wire with a diameter of 12 mm as an oxygen remover is one of the other products in this sector. Aluminum rods produced in both EC grade and steel industries after numerous tests in terms of: strength, elongation, purity inspection, surface quality and dimensional accuracy of diameter, electrical conductivity (rod used in wire and cable),are separated and directed for shipment . Rods produced as coils are ready for use or storage.
